The new IMU is sensor fused with the optical data to produce a tracking result better than the sum of its parts; resulting in smooth tracking—even with significant occlusion. You can even occlude all but one marker and still achieve full 6DoF tracking.
The CinePuck includes a variety of mounts on the bottom including an ARRI Anti-Twist Mount to allow you to mount the device on any camera, even with crowded rigging configurations. It also includes an embedded antenna for improved wireless range, a battery that lasts over 14 hours, and is all contained in a durable enclosure.
